   No. the Lab is still too young and boisterous at that age, he would frighten a small dog I would wait until the Lab matures a bit ,which will probably take about 12 -18 months.:) Perhaps a dog more to the Labs size.

   I would be super hesitant to get another dog when your lab is only 7 months. They stay puppy-like a lot longer than other breeds and you could end up with way too much puppy-ness on your hands.

   Hold off on the second dog for a while and maybe check out your local shelters. You might just come across the perfect friend for your lab in a breed you hadn’t considered before!

   Enjoy the early years of this dog and then when it gets a big older and mellower get another puppy.

   A chihuahua would be fine I have one named chiko he’s a sweet heart but he thinks he’s mister big shot all chihuahua’s think there are big but they are small little shrimp size dogs they have been around for over 3000 years and they where used as guard dog’s to kill rodents and etc DO NOT GO WITH A WEST HIGHLAND TERRIER I am begging you they are like the second most stubborn animal’s well dog’s if you want to get a another dog go with a chihuahua but I can give you alote of info about chihuahua’s that you will need if you are going to get one and any one else who needs help with chihuahua’s Contact me on my yahoo have a great day have a AWSOME day
